Is There a Little...

Have you ever believed that God was there for you, even when it didn't seem like it? Then there's a little Moses in you. Have you ever helped a friend be brave? Then there's a little Deborah in you. Have you ever helped somebody even when nobody wanted to help? Then there's a little Good Samaitan in you. See for yourself what Bible character traits you have below!

Is there a little Hezekiah in you?

It wasn't easy for Hezekiah to close down the cults and deal with his enemies. Have you have ever:

  1. Had a bully try to control you?
  2. Been tempted to join in the teasing to protect yourself?
  3. Wished trusting God was easier?

If so, you've felt Hezekiah's stress. God's there for you too.

More To Think About

Is there a little Holiness in you?

Holy? You? Before you say no, consider whether you:

  1. Feel really bad for people when they get hurt or sick or sad.
  2. Ask your teacher if she's having a good day once in a while.
  3. Forgive people who hurt your feelings.

Paul says that's what a little holiness looks like.

Is there a little Deborah in you?

Okay, so you've never commanded an army to conquer a nation for God, but have you ever:

  1. Gotten a group to work together when they couldn't seem to get anything done?
  2. Helped a friend be brave enough to try something she was afraid to do?
  3. Seemed to know the right thing to do, almost like God was whispering to you or nudging you?

The name Deborah means "bee." There just might be some of her honey-sweet greatness in you.

Bible Reference: Judges 4:4

Is there a little Thomas in you?

Think you would've believed without proof? Hmmm. Have you ever:

  1. Wondered, even for a second, if God was really there?
  2. Wished God would come to you in person so you'd be sure?

It's human to have doubts and want proof. But there are even better blessings in store when we believe without having to "see him in person."
