I feel like God is calling me to be a missionary in China someday, so I started a prayer group for China at my church. My friends and I wrote encouraging letters to christian prisoners in China. Since it costs a lot of money to send things overseas, we sold neacklaces with Chinese characters on them to our youth group. So many people bought the necklaces that we sent 19 letters and had money left over. We are going to use the extra money to send Bibles to China. Keep on glowing inthe dark.

One year I asked one of my teachers and they bought one. It was not fun but it was helping our church.I do not know how much was raised but I am sure it was a really good amount.All of the kids helped out.We did not get a big box but we got however many we thought we could sell. It was a job well done!

I reached out to my neighbors and brought them to VBS with me. I also cut my hair for Locks of Love. I cut of 10 1/2 inches and this was my third time doing it. Everybody asks me why I did it and I say "I did it for Locks of Love. They make MY hair into a wig, so others who have cancer will have a wig to wear". Another thing that touched me was, the lady who was cutting my hair. She asked me if i was going to do this always and I said yes. The lady answered back , "God will never let you get cancer - I just know it." THAT was a huge step. She didn't know if I was a Christian or not, but she took that step - and so should all of you!
