Every year, my church does a vacation bible school. They always have to decorate the church, and since my mom used to be on the christian education commitee, me and my sister went. I helped decorate lots of things, and I was proud of myself at the end. It might not seem life-changing, but just helping out feels good. That's the power of voulenteering.
